CHAIN.

It's been quite some time since i actually check my forwarded mails. Nonetheless, today, being less occupied, I decided to do some filtering and pretty much browsed through my received mails. Both forwarded and the normal ones. There's one thing i still don't get about CHAIN MAILS. What's with all the bad luck charm if you don't send this or that to a certain amount of people? Personally I do not see a point of those threats? And the 'oh so superstitious beliefs.' It's just rather shallow come to think of it, so you intend to carry forward a positive message to someone, and at the end you're threatened to forward the message, otherwise something bad will happen to you??! By then, the message with the so called "good intentions" has more so become meaningless, as the receiver feels obliged to forward them, just so the "bad luck" doesn't come in. =S Well, that was one of the reasons why i stopped checking forwarded mails, previously. Honestly, I felt as though it was a waste of time. Though generally the chain does not carry forth any bad intentions/meaning, nonetheless it may well be seen by some receivers as a threat, especially to the younger ones. Well, if you have a message you would like to share, or simply just a forwarded message to make someone's day, that's great! But would it not be so much better if it sounded more like a message well intended rather than a threat?

Signing off,
It's all about playing mind games, no?
