A day not to be forgotten. :D

So it was the last day of the week before Blackout Bistro goes on a 1 month break xD
For the past few days now, the college has been pretty much quiet because most courses are having their holidays now =/ Therefore sales this week were not as good. Nevertheless, we all had a great time working together.

Personally I would like to thank each one of the Friday team members, for being so helpful and cooperative throughout and yes, indeed it is my honour to be given the opportunity to work with such a wonderful team! ;D In no particular order, i shall list down all of their names.
Chee Hong, Joo Li, Ivan, Chern Yang, Jue Lyn, Ming Chang, Soon Ming, Isaac, Annabel, and also not forgetting people who've helped out here and there previously, like Chee Khong, Jacklyn, Wai How and Ruby. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Words alone are not enough to express my gratitude towards all of you, but well, I do really appreciate what you've all done. I guess we make a pretty good team afterall :) (well hopefully the shift next semester remains the same xD, LOL ok well i guess it depends on our various schedules and all that)

Anyway, we had some kind of a farewell dinner on this day (because there was so much leftovers xD), well because who knows if we'd be in the same team again next sem, right?

And I have to say, in the beginning, i did not know some or rather most of them that well, but for the past 1 month of working together, it has given me the opportunity to know each one on a more personal level, I mean at least we talk more now! xD So that's one thing i'm grateful for, and I do enjoy working with all of the Friday team members, or rather all of you (if any one of you happened to be reading this teehee), really! :)

So anyway, here I would like to express my biggest gratitude to all of you once again..
THANK YOU!!!

Picture Blogging?

Because it all started on Wednesday...

26/11/08 -Wednesday
So I went to college in the morning for a student photo shoot thingy. Got a lift from Wee Wee as I was out of transport. Later in the afternoon, there was a discussion at Bukit Tinggi Mcds for our Friday's Special. and After 3 or more times of planning followed by cancellation (^^''), the three of us, Caleb, Wee Han and myself, finally managed to meet up with Ms.Subha once again, in her shop. By the way, Ms.Subha, whose a very kind and friendly lady, agreed to help us out in our business plan presentation by giving a brief talk relating to our business plan. As a simple token of appreciation, we got her a cheesecake with a 'Thank you' on top and a card as well.

By the way, Ms.Subha owns a flower shop, a very pretty one :D It's located at Bayu Perdana, called 'Say it with Flowers.' Do check it out if you can :)

because there was a belated birthday celebration for both my cousins/relative, Iona (who says i'm a horrible liar =/) LOL, and also a small farewell for Caleb who left for Aussie on Thursday.

In between there was this candid session, and also, we met a friend, Wey Chin who happens to be Brandon's former school mate as well.
So this is what happened.

Then we met up with Ivan and Chern Yang and somehow ended up playing with the fishes in fish spa, the place where they both work.

So the night came.. and guess what?
We were told there was a flood! What else could we do but to wait indoors and..

A Wake Up Call.

After what happened today, i learn how fragile life is. One minute you can still be happily enjoying time with your family and friends, and the next life for you may just come to an end. Scary as it seems, but it is the reality of life, things you least expect to happen may just come like that. 101 questions of 'WHAT IFs' are popping in my mind at the moment, because of what i just experienced today, it's just a little too shocking for me at the moment that i can't seem to properly gather my thoughts. Also, thinking back on a few other (almost similar) incidents i know of that just took another's life away just like that, i can't, really can't believe i was close, so close to..(i don't want to say it) 'What happened?' you may ask, but i'd rather not go into that. All I can say is, I thank God for being there all the while, looking after me. If there's one thing i ought to be grateful for right now, it would be the life that i still have.

Suddenly everything seems so clear to me. Life is not a game, do not take it for granted, because you're only given once to live it. Secondly, don't, don't ever risk yourself into doing things you know you shouldn't be doing. Think twice before you act. For for every little action, there bound to be consequences. Lastly and also most importantly, think of your loved ones, even if you don't care as much for yourself, think about the people around you, your family especially, will they be able to bear the consequences because of the little deed you've done? Talk about losing your loved ones..how would you feel?

What was i thinking??! I have no idea what got into me, seriously. But I've learnt one of life's most important lesson today, even how courageous you might be, do not take the risk when it comes to life. For what is life? It is only a vapour which appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

Life. Treasure it.
